Remanufacturing a product is recycling it. Remanufacturing reduces landfill by reusing the base components of the products that remain in perfect working function, even after a long life in the field. This includes the solid bodies of the vaporizers, or the molded plastic parts of the joysticks and more. The only parts that go into the trash are the worn out seals, diaphragms, springs, wiring, etc. that have reached the end of their usable life. This way our overall waste is a small fraction of what it would be if you replaced the entire unit.
